Team Bauer

Team Bauer is made up of one hunter and three labs.  Jason Bauer of Fall Creek has competed at a championship level for 12 years and is ranked 22^nd in the MENZ Tournament Hunter Lifetime Ranking System. Ike is a male 5-year old black lab who is the 2010-11 & 2009-10 NATHA Top Dog Flusher Champion & 2007-08 NATHA Puppy of the Year and is ranked 10^th  in the MENZ Tournament Hunter Lifetime Ranking System for the last five years.  Dixie is a female 8-year old yellow lab who is the 2004-05 Puppy of the Year in the Wisconsin Dog Gun Dog Series and is ranked 48^th in the MENZ Tournament Hunter Lifetime Ranking System for the last five years.  Wyatt is a male 9-year old black lab who is the 2004-05 Top Gun Flusher & Open Flusher Dog of the Year in the Wisconsin Dog Gun Dog Series and is ranked 52^nd in the MENZ Tournament Hunter Lifetime Ranking System for the last five years. 

Team Bauer is seeking sponsorship to give them the resources to compete at a championship level as a tournament hunting team. The team will compete in the NATHA Series, BDC, and MUGS along with many local events in Chippewa Falls and Bloomer.  Team Bauer will also be traveling throughout the Midwest in the next year competing in Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, & Missouri.

The tournament hunting events challenge the hunters to test their bird hunting and dog handling skills.  Each team is awarded points according to the number of birds bagged, number of shells used, and the amount of time it takes to bag their birds.  The team with the highest score wins.  Most of the tournaments award the top 5 places in each class with a trophy.
